Ann Turkel, who was wed with Richard Harris for eight years before he divorced her twenty years ago, is still trying to reconcile the death of Richard Harris. Turkel was born into the midst of a Jewish family and was raised through her maternal grandmother in Manhattan. Diana Vreeland ordered Ann to take part in her first Vogue photo shoot with Richard Avedon within one week. Ann was soon one of the top models across the nation, gracing the covers of some of the most popular fashion magazines. These included Vogue Bazaar as well Cosmopolitan.
