Born on 25 November 1968, Jillian Shennessy was a energetic Canadian performer and actress who has been praised for her notable contribution to American television. Her fame is due to her superb performances in the American television show Law & Order where she impressed viewers for three seasons playing prosecutor Claire Kincaid and Crossing Jordan wherein she played the protagonist Jordan Cavanaugh for six seasons. Hennessy did not forget to show off her acting skills in films such as RoboCop 3 Most Wanted, Chutney Popcorn, and The Acting Class. She also created and directed these films. Hennessy started her acting career along with her twin sister as twin call girls in Dead Ringers in 1988. She had a brief stint on Broadway with the hit musical Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story in 1990 and stepped into the sci-fi world in 1993 when she played her character Dr. Marie Lazarus in RoboCop 3. Her breakthrough came later that year when she was a part of the cast of the hit NBC crime drama Law & Order as assistant district attorney Claire Kincaid. In this role, she impressed viewers for three seasons until 1996. Parker is known for appearing in television and film series like RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys by the Side as well as the West Wing Angels of America and for which she received the Golden Globe Award as well as an Emmy Award. Parker has also been the recipient from the year 2001 Tony Award for Best Actress in the Broadway play Proof.
